The Tenth Kazakhstan China Commodities Fair Opens In May

In order to further strengthen economic and trade exchanges between China and Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries and promote the development of Chinese enterprises in the Central Asian market, the Ministry of Commerce, the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region people's government and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps will hold the tenth Kazakhstan China Commodity Fair in Kazakhstan, Almaty on May 2012.

Kazakhstan is a member of the Shanghai cooperation organization and an important economic and trade partner of China in the Central Asian region. In recent years, Kazakhstan's economic growth has been strong and has been criticized by foreign power as "the most economic growth power in Central Asia". Kazakhstan is located in two continents across Asia and Europe. It connects China to the north and Russia to the East. Because of its unique geographical location and good economic foundation, it has certain economic radiation to the Central Asian countries. Kazakhstan has a high degree of dependence on foreign goods, especially high-tech products, daily necessities and light industrial products, which are basically replaced by commodities from the United States, Germany, Japan, Korea, China and Turkey. The ninth Kazakhstan China Commodity Fair was successfully held in Almaty in May 2011.
