From 9 to 10 a.m. on May 8, 2017, Professor Cui Rongrong of Jiangnan University held a symbiotic academic seminar on art and technology culture in the lecture hall of the textile and Engineering College of Taiyuan Science University.

Professor Cui explains mainly about the problem of "Reflection on art and design education". Due to the decline and rise of different ideological value systems, the serious homogenization of the design field, and the lack of art education practice, students are short of core competitiveness.

Professor Cui, taking a specific designer's work as an example, points out the problems of exaggeration, emptiness and formality in some knowledge systems, and teaches students how to integrate art, technology and culture, so that graduates can go further on the designer's road.

Cui Rongrong, born in April 1971, deputy director of Social Sciences, Jiangnan University.
