Reporters learned from the meeting that the 2016 global textile and garment supply chain meeting (TASCC2016), hosted by the China Textile Industry Federation and the Foshan Nanhai District People's government, the China Textile Information Center, the Xiqiao Town People's Government of Nanhai District and the Nanhai District Economic and Technological Promotion Bureau, will be held in Xiqiao town from 6 to 7 June 2016.

The theme of this conference is "supply chain ecology and cloud manufacturing", focusing on topics such as supply chain ecology, intelligent supply chain, supply chain operation, green supply chain and supply chain logistics.

The conference will invite well-known textile and garment brands, purchasers, major domestic garment industry cluster enterprises, domestic investment institutions, famous industrial economics experts and famous clothing.

Fu Guangwei, deputy director of China Textile Information Center, said the global textile and Apparel Supply Chain Conference (TASCC) was founded in 2008. It is an international exchange platform for textile and apparel supply chain management and brand development every year by China Textile Industry Federation.

The past sessions were held in Shanghai, Humen and Changshu respectively. This is the ninth session.

This conference focuses on the development trend of the future textile and apparel supply chain under the global competition pattern, and how the traditional textile and garment enterprises grasp the development opportunities of "supply chain new ecology and cloud manufacturing", and promote the direction of supply side market demand, and promote the pformation and upgrading of China's textile and garment industry to form a more smooth, efficient, greener and more coordinated supply chain ecosystem.

Up to now, there are more than 800 textile and garment enterprises in the town, including more than 100 enterprises above Designated Size and more than 60 thousand employees.
