The Pass Rate Of Children'S Shoes In Jiangsu Is Up To 90%. What Is The Product Risk?
Jiangsu Quality Supervision Bureau recently released the 2014 children's shoes supervision and spot checks quality analysis report shows that children's shoes spot checks pass rate is 90%.
In addition to testing according to relevant standards, the special spot checks also increased heavy metal content (arsenic, lead, cadmium), plasticizers and other risk items.
Testing
The results showed that most of the samples were detected by lead, arsenic and cadmium.
The weekly quality lecture hall co sponsored by the Yangtze Evening News and the Jiangsu Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has focused on the hidden risks of unqualified children.
Standard adoption is not satisfactory.
According to incomplete statistics, there are about more than 1000 children's shoes factories in China, mainly small and medium-sized enterprises.
There are hundreds of leather shoes manufacturing enterprises in our province. The production base is mainly concentrated in Yangzhou and Zhenjiang, mainly in adult leather shoes, and less in the production of children's shoes.
Past
Children's shoes
They all adopt the same standard as adult shoes. The standard of children's shoes is only established in recent years. There are children's leather shoes, children's travel shoes, cloth shoes, etc. However, these standards are recommended standards in the industry. Manufacturers often adopt the standard of loose adult shoes.
The pass rate is 90%. Do not neglect the hardness of the outsole.
The quality supervision department made a total of 40 batches of children's shoes. Among them, 3 batches of samples were sold, 37 batches of the products sold, 36 batches of qualified products, and the pass rate was 90%, of which the products of the production enterprises were all qualified.
Xiao Youyu, Minister of Nanjing Quality Inspection Institute, said that the special spot checks, in addition to testing according to relevant standards, also increased heavy metal content (arsenic, lead, cadmium), plasticizers and other risk items.
Through the test results, it also reflects the possible risk of children's health in children's shoes.
Most of the 40 batches of products were detected by lead, arsenic and cadmium.
The Handbook of safety knowledge for children's shoes issued by AQSIQ shows that the quality problems of children's shoes are mainly concentrated on the hardness of the outsole, wear resistance of the outsole, and the drop of small accessories.
The hardness of children's shoes has a direct impact on the development of children's feet, because children's feet are rich in nerve and vascular network. Too soft soles will cause the collapse of the arch, and too hard and too thick soles are not conducive to the bending of the soles, resulting in the impact of the sole, and the softer and stronger soles will affect the growth and development of children's feet.
Non abrasion resistance
Slippage of shoes
Because children are active and active, walking is different from adults, and the soles are easier to wear. At this time, the wear resistance of children's shoes is higher.
The wear resistance not only directly affects the wearing life of shoes, but also affects the skid resistance of shoes. If this item fails, it may cause the wearers to slip and get hurt.
In addition, attention should be paid to the firmness of small accessories for children's shoes.
The risk assessment of children's shoes shows that these accessories are not strong enough to sew or have low adhesion strength, and there is a risk of shedding. They can easily be choked by children and cause suffocation or other safety hazards.
Chemical damage of heavy metals in shoe materials
The heavy metal injury in children's shoes mainly refers to three kinds of lead, cadmium and arsenic.
Most of the products tested showed lead, arsenic and cadmium detection. Once heavy metals in shoes were absorbed by the body, they would accumulate in the liver, bones, kidneys, heart and brain of the human body, causing huge irreversible damage to health.
Infants are curious and sometimes suck their shoes. This undoubtedly causes children's shoes to contact with their children's skin, eyes and even their oral cavity, resulting in the damage of children's heavy metals on the surface of shoes.
Tips: pig skin permeability is good.
Leather leather has the worst permeability in synthetic leather.
Generally, leather shoes have better air permeability, especially pig leather.
Taking into account the safety of children's wear, children should not forget to look at the soles when choosing shoes. Leather shoes usually have two categories: cortex and colloid. The leather soles can be used to play fingers, the sound is crisp, and the touch feels firm, which indicates that the soles are flexible and wear resistant.
If it is colloidal sole, the surface must be smooth and uniform, with regular patterns, and the edges and corners of each pattern should be bright and complete.
Choosing shoes according to age
Children under 3 years old are suitable for shoes with soft materials.
The children of this age group have rich neural and vascular networks, and hard shoes will constrict local nerves and blood vessels, affect the growth and development of toes and feet, and seriously cause foot deformity.
Children aged 3 to 6 are suitable for buying shoes that are slightly harder. The shoes at this stage are very important for the normal development of children's foot bones. During this period, the bones of children are not completely calcified, the ankle is tender and delicate, and the children are active and the feet are of poor stability. Wearing a little hard and protective shoes can effectively prevent children's activities from binding and pulling foot cartilage, avoiding permanent deformity of foot bones and various foot diseases.
