Fashion Show In Africa Fashion Show To Raise Funds For Victims Of Riots

According to 26 reports from Kenya media, some top fashion designers and models in Africa have held a traditional African clothing show in Nairobi National Park in Kenya recently, calling on people to cherish peace and raise funds for the victims of Kenya's election riots.

The model named "peace for fashion" attracted the participation of models in West Africa and East Africa.

Organizers of the event said in a statement that the aim of the event was to change the negative views of some countries on Kenya and even Africa, calling for peace.

It is reported that the money raised by clothing show activities will be donated to some people who are homeless due to electoral riots.

Kenya held a presidential election at the end of December last year. The election committee announced that President Kibaki had been re elected. However, the main opposition party "orange democracy movement" accused it of fraud and refused to accept the election results.

Subsequently, large-scale riots broke out in Kenya, causing thousands of deaths and about 300000 homeless.
