   On October 19, 2024, the "Ten Rus Dialogue 2024: Towards Sustainable Well being" held by Guilin Ten Rus Research Institute on October 17-19 was successfully concluded. This year's Ten Rue Dialogue brings together representatives from the government, business, education and cultural circles to analyze the multiple meanings of sustainable well-being from different perspectives. Through a variety of thematic seminars and exchange activities, a group of speakers explored innovative ways to jointly promote sustainable well-being around the four themes of supply chain, nature and culture, social and economic innovation, and education. The Ten Rus Dialogue was held in Guilin's Yida Sustainable Development Garden "Ten Rus", attracting nearly 300 guests.

   October 17 was the first day of the Ten Rus Dialogue. As one of the founding members of the Ten Rus Research Institute, Tong Cheng, CEO of Shengbai Group, said in a welcoming speech: "In today's surging digital wave, we are facing unprecedented global challenges. Automation, emerging green technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, renewable energy, biotechnology, blockchain and other cutting-edge technologies are promoting sustainable development practices with revolutionary force, significantly improving the quality of human life, and leading us to re-examine the path to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations. "

   Wang Tianyi, a member of the committee of the Ten Rus Research Institute, presided over the evening event. Ning Gaoning, the former chairman of Sinochem Holding Co., Ltd., started from climate change and discussed in depth China's efforts to become a leading environment-friendly country and a global carbon reduction benchmark through energy transformation, energy conservation and emission reduction. He stressed that the survival and development of enterprises should complement the sustainable goals. By focusing on sustainable investment and earnestly fulfilling social responsibilities, enterprises can achieve long-term development.
   On October 18, Yang Minxian, a member of the committee of Ten Rus Research Institute and the vice chairman of Investec Group, gave a speech at the opening ceremony, taking "Ten Rus" as an example, to share that through the introduction of innovative catering service concepts, even in traditional industries, employee meals can be promoted towards sustainable development. She said: "After experiencing the challenges of the epidemic, people have paid unprecedented attention to their own and social well-being, hoping to build a healthier and more sustainable future. In the case of Ten Examples, the concept of sustainable development is not only reflected in our discussions, but also goes deeper into daily practice."
   Yang Yanyan, President of the Guangxi Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Secretary General of the Secretariat of the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and the Joint Secretariat of the China ASEAN Business Council, said in his speech: "In the context of sustainable development and digital and intelligent development, promoting green transformation and sustainable development of industries has become the common responsibility of government departments and enterprises. We still need to constantly explore the breadth, depth and breadth of sustainable development, and constantly innovate the implementation path of sustainable development. "

   Subsequently, the Ten Rus Dialogue invited a number of speakers to give keynote speeches and seminars.    On the day of the event, four thematic seminars were held, including "CEO Perspective", "Shaping the Future Supply Chain", "Natural and Cultural Integration", "Social and Economic Innovation" and "Integrating Welfare into Education". In the "CEO perspective", speakers discussed how to integrate the concept of sustainability into business development, emphasizing that sustainable innovation, corporate culture and leadership are particularly important for promoting corporate success and community well-being.

   In the seminar on "Shaping the Future Supply Chain", the speakers discussed how to integrate sustainable practices and innovation strategies at each stage of production, so as to cultivate an efficient and ethical supply chain and discuss good strategies for building a green and low-carbon global economic system.

   In the theme seminar of "nature and culture integration", the speakers discussed how to integrate the concepts of local culture, sustainability and welfare into the construction of buildings and rural areas from a comprehensive perspective of respecting the environment and culture, so as to deepen the harmonious relationship between man and nature.

   At the theme seminar of "Integrating well-being into education", several senior educators jointly discussed how education can promote sustainable personal, social and environmental well-being, re-examine and conceive education methods, and promote the development of the global education system in a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable direction.
   In his closing speech, Professor Li Xiaoliang, chairman of the committee of the Ten Ru Research Institute, said: "The Ten Ru Dialogue attracts guests from different countries and regions around the world to come together to share and discuss new perspectives on sustainable development. Diversified exchanges have stimulated our new thinking on sustainability and reshaped our approach to future challenges."
   Looking ahead, the Ten Ru Dialogue will cover a wider range of fields, attract more people with lofty ideals, jointly discuss more diverse topics, and promote in-depth dialogue on sustainable development.
