Huarong: Upgrading The Textile Industry. In 2023, Textile And Clothing Enterprises Will Achieve A Total Output Value Of 19.8 Billion Yuan

On February 19, six textile and clothing industry chain projects were signed and settled in Shifu Ecological Textile Industrial Park, High tech Zone, Huarong County. Hunan Kechuang Textile Co., Ltd.'s 150000 spindle new intelligent spinning project and Hunan Kelijia Textile Co., Ltd.'s fourth phase project were started. The signing and implementation of these projects strongly promote the high-quality development of the textile industry in the county.

Huarong County is known as "China's Famous Cotton Textile City", with a good textile industry foundation, great potential and distinctive characteristics. Tao Weijun, secretary of Huarong County Party Committee, introduced that the county seized the development opportunity, promoted the upgrading of the textile industry through scale expansion and technological innovation, and further supplemented, strengthened and extended the chain. Small cotton yarn weaving is a 10 billion industry, which plays an important role in promoting employment, increasing farmers' income, earning foreign exchange through export, financial growth, and county economic development.

Huarong County will build Shifu Ecological Textile Industrial Park with high standards, focus on introducing chemical fiber, polyester cotton blending and other projects, promote the coordinated development of pure cotton spinning and polyester cotton blending, and create a modern textile industrial system integrating spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, and ready to wear. At present, there are 79 textile and clothing enterprises in the park, with an annual spinning scale of 980000 spindles, accounting for about a quarter of the province, and the output of knitting yarn and denim yarn ranks first in the province.

The county actively guided textile and clothing enterprises to establish industry university research cooperation relations with Donghua University, Wuhan Textile University, etc., set up postdoctoral workstations, and successively obtained more than 110 various patents. Hunan Kelika Textile Co., Ltd. adheres to the strategy of talents and science and technology, organizes more than 40 R&D projects, obtains 18 patents, and the product quality reaches the world's leading level. The company has introduced advanced equipment such as warp and weft spinning machine blowing carding unit and Rieter full-automatic combing machine, with an annual output of 150000 spindles. It has become the largest professional production enterprise of high-end combed knitting in central and southern China, a national high-tech enterprise, and a national intelligent manufacturing demonstration factory.

The textile industry of Huarong County has shown a strong development trend of growing scale, leading technology and accelerating industrial agglomeration, and has been included in the provincial county foreign trade characteristic industrial cluster. In 2023, the total output value of textile and clothing enterprises in the county will reach 19.8 billion yuan, up 10% year on year.
