Wearing a jacket during outdoor sports can ensure that the water on the outer layer of the clothing cannot penetrate, and sweat can evaporate in time.

Waterproof performance refers to the ability of clothing to resist water wetting and penetration. It mainly examines the surface moisture resistance and hydrostatic pressure resistance of fabrics. Fabrics with good surface moisture resistance can make the water drops falling on the fabrics slip naturally, and fabrics with good hydrostatic pressure resistance can keep the inner layer of clothing impervious and damp for a long time. Moisture permeability reflects the ability of the fabric to transmit sweat to the outside world in the form of water vapor, which directly affects the comfort of wearing.

In order to meet the needs of a variety of outdoor sports, the functional requirements of the fabric of the sportswear are divided into Level I and Level II in the GB/T32614-2016 Outdoor Sports Clothing, which is more suitable for professional outdoor sports. On September 7 of this year, the State Administration of Market Supervision and the National Standardization Administration issued the latest standard of "Outdoor Sporting Garments", namely GB/T 32614-2023, which will be officially implemented on April 1, 2024. Compared with the 2016 version, the new standard further improves the functional requirements of fabrics.

Sichuan Provincial Market Supervision Bureau reminds consumers to check whether the product is marked with product name, specification, model, safety category, maintenance method, manufacturer's name and address and other information when purchasing and using the product. It is recommended not to purchase the "three no" products without product quality inspection certificate, product name, manufacturer's name and address in Chinese.

Pay attention to whether safety standards and product standards are marked. The safety standard shall be marked with GB18401-2010 (for children aged 14 and above) or GB31701-2015 (for children aged 14 and below); It is recommended to purchase the stormcoat with the executive standard of GB/T32614-2016 or GB/T32614-2023, and Grade I is preferred for professional outdoor sports. If other standards are marked, the national standard information public service platform can be used（ https://std.samr.gov.cn/ ）According to the review, if the standard does not cover the moisture permeability, hydrostatic pressure and surface moisture resistance, it is not recommended to purchase it as a submachine suit.

See the details of the sewing of the jacket. Observe whether the clothing stitches are neat, whether there is glue pressing at the seams, and whether the glue pressing is flat. Feel whether the weather cap, velcro, drawcord and other settings are reasonable and easy to use by trying them on.

Properly dressed and maintained. Washing and drying shall be carried out according to the marked maintenance methods, and neutral detergent shall be selected for hand washing or machine washing. Long time immersion, dry cleaning, strong drying, twisting and other cleaning methods shall not be used. Repeated washing will affect the waterproof and moisture permeability of the submachine suit.
