The fashion consumer goods industry is an important support to continuously enhance the city's energy level and core competitiveness. The Action Plan for the High Quality Development of Shanghai's Fashion Consumer Goods Industry, issued on the 15th, proposes to strive to achieve an industrial scale of more than 520 billion yuan by 2025, with an average annual growth rate of 5%.

The action plan is formulated by the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission in conjunction with the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Commerce Commission, the Science and Technology Commission, the Culture and Tourism Administration and the Market Supervision Bureau. According to the goal, strive to cultivate three to five leading enterprise groups with operating revenue of 100 billion yuan, 20 leading enterprise groups with 10 billion yuan, and introduce a number of functional headquarters of global and national leading enterprises by 2025; Build 10 smart factories of fashion consumer goods industry and 100 digital application scenarios of fashion consumer goods industry characteristics; Build 3 to 5 characteristic industrial parks for fashion consumer goods, a number of municipal boutique parks, fashion creativity demonstration spaces, etc.

It is reported that Shanghai will focus on the "eight fashion products", namely fashion products, cosmetics, fine food, sports products, smart products, lifestyle products, craft products, digital fashion products, create a high-quality innovative supply system around the key path of improvement, and further promote the strengthening of the chain of fashion consumer goods industry to meet new needs.

Statistics show that from January to November this year, Shanghai introduced 982 first stores of all kinds, including 10 first stores in the world or Asia, and 130 first stores nationwide. The number of new first stores of international brands reached 124, accounting for 12.6%, most of which belong to the category of "eight fashion products".
