In 2020, China'S Export Of Textiles Such As Masks Will Reach 1.07 Trillion Yuan, An Increase Of 30.4%

On January 14, the Information Office of the State Council held a press conference to introduce the import and export situation in 2020 and answer questions from reporters.

Li Kuiwen, spokesman of the General Administration of customs and director of the Department of statistics and analysis, said that exports of traditional competitive products continued to grow. In 2020, China's export of mechanical and electrical products will reach 10.66 trillion yuan, an increase of 6%, accounting for 59.4% of the total export value, with a year-on-year increase of 1.1 percentage points. Among them, the export of notebook computers, household appliances, medical instruments and devices increased by 20.4%, 24.2% and 41.5% respectively. Over the same period, the export of seven categories of labor-intensive products, such as textiles and clothing, reached 3.58 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.2%, including 1.07 trillion yuan of textile exports, an increase of 30.4%.
