The Daily Production Capacity Of BYD Masks Has Reached 20 Million, Producing 231 Units Per Second.

Recently, according to media reports, as of April 17th, the daily production of BYD masks has reached 20 million, equivalent to 231 masks per second, from the production line of BYD masks.

BYD introduced the company currently has 300 masks production line, due to domestic and international epidemic prevention and control needs, is still producing 1 million to 2 million masks per day to speed up production.

In mid March, BYD had said that the daily production capacity of the respirator could reach 5 million, equivalent to 1/4 of the previous national capacity, and it is increasing at the rate of 300 thousand to 500 thousand per day, and the new masks machine of about 5-10 units per day can achieve mass production.

At present, BYD has become the largest mask manufacturer in the world. According to foreign media, BYD founder Wang Chuanfu led a team of 3000 engineers to build a production line from scratch, with 90% of the production line made of BYD.

Since masks were mass-produced in February 17th, BYD has donated 10 million yuan and more than 5 million pieces of respirators for public services such as hospitals, public transport, rental and airports. It supports Hubei and other places to fight against the epidemic and provides support for all industries, upstream and downstream enterprises and large enterprises in Shenzhen.

Wang Chuanfu said that when the epidemic situation is extremely difficult, BYD should stand up and use all forces to aid the production masks when people urgently need masks.

In addition to BYD, GAC and Sinopec are also producing masks to complete the transformation of production.
