In September 3rd, the eight Executive Council of the China Textile Machinery Association was held in Nanjing. Han Ping, President of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association, introduced the development of Jiangsu textile industry at the meeting.

According to Han Ping, the characteristics of Jiangsu's textile industry are early start, large scale, complete product categories and complete industrial chain. Over the years, Jiangsu textile has formed a complete industrial chain from spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing to clothing, home textiles, industrial textiles to textile machinery and equipment. The province has 3 billion bases, 2 hundred billion market, 2 billion enterprises, 16 billion famous towns and 13 billion enterprises, and has made a large number of influential brand enterprises at home and abroad, such as Hengli, Sheng Hong, Hai Lan home, Bosideng, and red bean.

In addition, Jiangsu is one of the origins of the modern machine textile industry, especially the Nantong Jiangsu Dasheng group. After 124 years of development, the first generation of Japanese TOYOTA looms used in the construction of the factory, and now use the whole process intelligent domestic spinning machine, has become the highest textile enterprise in China.

Since 1985, over the past 30 years, the total textile volume in Jiangsu has always been the first in the country, accounting for about 20% of the country's total. In 2018, the main business revenue of Jiangsu textile industry was 1 trillion and 60 billion yuan, an increase of 1.62% over the same period, with a total profit of 53 billion 880 million yuan, an increase of 0.41% over the same period last year. Even in the current severe market environment, many textile enterprises in Jiangsu are still booming.

But at the same time, Jiangsu textile industry also needs to be improved. Han Ping pointed out that, first, the brand is not strong, and the future of Jiangsu textile lies in brand guidance and lack of brand leadership with international influence. Two, there is insufficient investment in Jiangsu's industry innovation and exchange service platform. Three, the government of Jiangsu is relatively conservative, lacking in initiative and open-minded. Four, growth advantages no longer exist. Jiangsu's textile growth has been lower than the national average level in the past 2 years, compared with other provinces and cities, it has no obvious advantage. In the 1~6 months of this year, the business income of Jiangsu textile industry was only 0.94% higher than that of the previous year, while the business income of the national textile regulations increased by 3.18% over the same period last year.

At present, the downward pressure on textile industry is increasing, and orders are showing polarization. The cotton spinning industry is particularly obvious. For Jiangsu Province, besides, the pressure of environmental protection is also increasing. Especially in printing and dyeing enterprises, the green development is generally emphasized, and a large amount of funds are invested in the equipment upgrading. The existing environmental protection technology and equipment have basically met the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater and exhaust gas, and achieved discharge standards. Under the restriction of the Taihu regulations and the Yangtze River protection policy, printing and dyeing industry in some parts of South of Jiangsu is shrinking, and special plans for printing and dyeing are being developed all over the country. Under the guidance of planning, enterprises are gradually concentrating on clusters and all kinds of parks. Among them, Wujiang textile circular economy industrial park has taken the lead step by step and set a good example.

The large scale investment in industry, the increasing demand for intelligent and personalized development is one of the characteristics of the current textile industry in Jiangsu province. According to Han Ping, Dasheng group will build intelligent factories to build intelligent factories. Yueda, Huafang woolen, sunshine group and other enterprises will increase the demand for intelligent equipment upgrading and the demand for personalized product development. At present, the industry's new round of shuffling and the restructuring of the industrial chain are speeding up. The Jiangsu government has increased investment in scientific and technological innovation, and the first textile Innovation Center of the Ministry of industry has been set up in Sheng Hong.

According to statistics, in the 1~6 months of this year, the main business income of Jiangsu textile machinery enterprises was 16 billion 390 million yuan, down 1.87% from the same period last year, with a total profit of 1 billion 80 million yuan, down 3.68% compared with the same period last year. Han Ping believes that no matter what the market situation is, it is most important to do well in one's own business. The textile industry is also a fashion industry. It is still full of vitality. Textile machinery is the foundation for the development of textile industry. It is hoped that Chinese textile machinery enterprises will focus on the needs of textile enterprises and develop more and better textile products.

In addition, in September 5th, at the summit of Jiangsu textile "green development" held in Nanjing, Jiangsu textile enterprises regarded "environmental character" as the life of enterprises.

According to Wang Jing, Jiangsu Provincial Center for ecological and environmental assessment, Jiangsu has the largest population density in the country and the largest number of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, and pollution emissions are still at a high level. In 2018, Jiangsu asked for the production technology and pollution control technology to be adopted in the "reconstruction and dyeing and printing project" of the Taihu basin, which should reach the world's advanced level. Specific requirements for printing and dyeing enterprises, such as drainage volume of unit products, advanced process and equipment reference list, pollution prevention and control measures for waste water, waste gas and solid waste, are put forward.
