For this 10% tariff, domestic manufacturers and foreign importers are expected to have little pressure on finishing due to appropriate allocation. Therefore, it is not expected to significantly affect the number of flame-retardant viscose staple fibers exported.

The largest exporters of other non combed wood non flame retardant viscose staple fibers (55041029) are mainly Islamic countries such as Indonesia, Pakistan and Turkey. In 2018, the total number of exports to the United States amounted to 2772 tons, accounting for only 0.97%. The specific effects may come from exchange rate changes and the development of textile industry in these countries.
