Beijing Consumers Association Bought 100 Clothes And 25 Items Failed: Armani, ONLY And So On.

In July 30th, the Consumer Association of Beijing released a comparative test report on clothing. The Beijing Consumer Association carried out a comparative test on 100 clothing samples of 76 brands sold on the market. In the end, the 25 samples did not meet the requirements of the relevant national standards. Among them, the price of 3800 yuan GIORGIO ARMANI a coat pilling. The fiber content of HUGO BOSS and KENZO products is inconsistent with the label.


The reporter has learned that 25 samples which do not meet the national standards require 14 shopping places: Wanda Plaza (Fengtai west iron store), Yansha ole shopping center, Huasheng shopping center, Wanda Plaza (Tongzhou store), gae Tian factory store, Jun Tai Department store, Han Guang Department store, Tianma time (Hualian shop), patch life (public welfare West Bridge store), Xihongmen Hui shopping center, Hong Ying (Hualian shop), Jingkelong (Tongzhou Dongguan shop), Ginza Mall (east straight shop) and Oriental albatross sports franchise store (Tmall).


It is understood that there are mainly 5 items in this comparative test which do not meet the relevant standard requirements, namely, product use instructions, fiber content, dry rubbing fastness, wet rubbing fastness, color fastness and pilling. Beijing Consumers Association said that the results of the comparative test were only responsible for the samples purchased. In the samples that did not meet the standards, pilling was not the most common. The rate of non compliance of samples in different price ranges is also different. The rate of not reaching the target rate of 200 yuan -400 yuan is the highest.


Fiber content reflects the material composition of clothing products, determines the wearability of clothing products, and is also one of the main reference indexes when consumers purchase. In this comparative experiment, a total of 5 samples of fiber content did not meet the requirements of the relevant express standard, and the results showed that the fiber content deviation was beyond the range of the prescribed tolerance, the multi standard of fiber components and the leakage of labels in two aspects. Among them, the jacket of HUGO BOSS and KENZO jeans are on the blacklist.


Color fastness refers to the firmness of fabric dyeing, and it is a test item that directly affects the overall appearance of clothing. In this comparative experiment, a total of 8 samples did not meet the requirements of the relevant express standard, and they were involved in 3 items: dry friction color fastness, wet rubbing fastness and color fastness. ONLY a pair of jeans is on the list.


Fuzzing and pilling refers to the phenomenon of ball forming when the fibers are subjected to various external forces such as friction and tension during the wearing process. In this comparative test, a total of 11 samples of pilling properties did not meet the relevant express standard requirements. GIORGIO ARMANI a coat is not up to standard. And this product is also the comparative test, the highest price, reaching 3800 yuan.
