1~6 Textile And Garment Exports In Xinjiang Fell Year On Year

Recently, according to the statistics of Urumqi customs, in 2019 1~6, the total export of clothing and accessories at Xinjiang port was 8 billion 850 million yuan, a decrease of 13.7% compared with the same period last year. The total export of textile yarn, fabric and products was 2 billion 260 million yuan, a decrease of 28.7% compared with the same period last year. The total export volume of textile machinery and parts was 199 million yuan, an increase of 175.2% over the same period last year.

On the import side, in 2019 1~6, the total import volume of cotton at Xinjiang port was 1 billion 50 million yuan, an increase of 27.5% over the same period last year. The total import volume of textile machinery and parts was 360 million yuan, a decrease of 54.9% compared with the same period last year, and the total import of textile yarn, fabrics and products was 140 million yuan, an increase of 69.2% over the same period last year.
