First stop in Islamabad

On the morning of July 2nd, the delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan. Ambassador Yao Jing had a cordial communication with President Yang Zhaohua and entrepreneurs.

Ambassador Yao Jing highly appreciated the delegation's visit to promote bilateral relations between China and Pakistan. In recent years, with the continuous development of the Sino Pakistani economic corridor, especially in April this year, the Beijing "one belt and one way" International Summit Forum, the two countries signed the second stage protocol of the China Pakistan FTA, and bilateral economic and trade relations entered a new stage. The focus of cooperation is gradually shifted from energy, electricity and infrastructure to industrial cooperation. President Yang Zhaohua's visit to the home textile industry delegation coincided with the time. It is hoped that the delegation's visit will deepen our understanding of Pakistan, give suggestions on cooperation from the perspective of industry, learn from experience in investment enterprises in Pakistan, and promote in-depth and pragmatic cooperation between the two textile industries. At the same time, Ambassador Yao Jing pointed out that while enjoying the dividends of political relations between the two countries, industrial investment and cooperation should also fully understand the local customs culture, familiarity with local laws and regulations and relevant policies, and comprehensively inspect and assess the local market situation. President Yang Zhaohua told Ambassador Yao Jing about the textile trade and cooperation between China and Pakistan, including products of yarn, fabrics and grey fabrics. China and Pakistan textile industry has strong complementarity, especially in the current severe and complex economic and trade situation. Pakistan's production and labor cost advantages, preferential tariff policies, and China Brazil economic corridor "pull effect" make it qualified to become an ideal destination for Chinese textile enterprises to invest. Over the past few years, China's textile industry has speeded up the global layout process, and the industry's foreign investment, especially in the countries along the belt and road, has increased rapidly, which has exceeded 6 billion US dollars. The delegation visited Pakistan to understand the basic situation of textile industry, market demand, business and investment environment, and related policies, so as to promote pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. President Yang Zhaohua thanked Ambassador Yao Jing for his full support for the "going out" of Chinese textile enterprises. He said that the industry association will play a leading role and serve the trade and win-win cooperation between China and Pakistan. At present, the construction of China Brazil economic corridor has entered the two stage. The supply and infrastructure construction of Pakistan has been significantly improved, and it is urgent for more Chinese enterprises to take root in Pakistan. The visit by the Chinese delegation to the home textile industry has milestone significance and will play a very important role in promoting the investment of Chinese textile enterprises in Pakistan. The Palestinian government will also make every effort to provide a series of convenient conditions and safeguards for Chinese textile enterprises in Pakistan development. Yang Zhaohua thanked the Ministry of Commerce for his warm reception and said that the visit was actually a follow-up visit after the commerce department's visit to Beijing in April.
