Annual Meeting Of The National Textile Standards Committee And The Founding Conference Of Intelligent Textile Working Group Held In Kunshan

On March 27, 2019 -28, the national textile Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC209) annual meeting and the founding conference of intelligent textile working group were held in Kunshan. More than 220 representatives from industry associations, research institutes, testing institutions and manufacturing enterprises attended the meeting.

Chen Hongjun, deputy director of the standard Technology Department of the General Administration of market supervision, attended the meeting.

Chen Hongjun first affirmed the achievements of the National Textile Standards Committee.

He pointed out that the textile industry is a traditional consumer goods industry, and is undergoing an important period of structural adjustment, pformation and upgrading.

At the same time, the structural characteristics of China's consumer market have undergone profound changes. Consumers' pursuit of personalization, fashion, functionalization, greening and intellectualization of textile and clothing products is particularly evident.

Textile standardization work should grasp the new opportunities of consumption upgrading and solve the new task faced by the construction of standard system.

He puts forward three expectations for the future work of the Textile Standard Committee: first, speed up the research and construction of the new textile standard system; two, further improve the quality and efficiency of the textile standard; three, promote the internationalization of the textile standard.

After the end of the annual meeting, the national textile Commission's intelligent textile working group was convened.
