Five Departments Jointly Hold Experience Exchange Meeting On Industrial Pformation And Upgrading Demonstration Area Construction

Recently, the national development and Reform Commission, Ministry of science and technology, Ministry of industry and information technology, Ministry of natural resources and State Development Bank held the second industrial pformation and upgrading demonstration zone construction policy training and experience exchange in Huangshi, Hubei province.

Tong Zhangshun, director of the revitalization division of the national development and Reform Commission, pointed out that since 2017, the five sector of the state has supported the first batch of 12 industrial pformation and upgrading demonstration zones, in line with the requirements of high quality development, taking regional revitalization and industrial revitalization as the goal, focusing on industrial restructuring and urban renewal and upgrading, and comprehensively promoting business environment optimization, innovation capability upgrading, traditional industrial pformation, new industry cultivation, industrial park construction, production and urban integration development and ecological restoration.

In 2018, the five sector of the state strengthened the guidance for the construction and development of the demonstration area, supported the establishment of special funds, improved the annual evaluation and incentive mechanism, supported the construction of the national innovative industrial cluster, the new industrial industrialization demonstration base and the manufacturing innovation center, and carried out the pilot land use reform and financial support. The construction of the demonstration zones has achieved positive results over the past year.

In 2019, the demonstration areas should be guided by Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics, adhere to the general keynote of upholding the principle of steady progress, adhere to the new development concept, and unswervingly promote the development of high quality.
