Zhang Song also pointed out that the clothing sold in China should be labeled with Chinese labels to ensure that consumers understand the names, specifications, ingredients, washing methods, implementation standards, importers and other information. Infants and children under 7 years of age should not have any rope around their heads and neck, so as not to wrap around their necks and endanger children's safety. Labels such as trademarks, specifications and water marks should not be sewn directly in contact with infants and young children, so as to avoid prolonged friction on infants' skin.

The consumer tips issued by the bureau also remind consumers that the purchase of imported infant clothing should be sold through regular sales channels such as stores, counters and official website trading platform. They should learn to read labels and smell, try to buy cotton and light colored fabrics, and do not buy infant clothing with small pieces such as string or imitation drill, little pearls, sequins and so on. After buying, they need adequate water washing, such as skin, rash and other allergic symptoms when they are wearing new clothing products. They should be replaced immediately.
