Ye Jianchun has introduced and explained the current hot issues such as the stockpile of cotton stocks, the promotion of reform, the industrial pfer and the cancellation of processing trade.

When it comes to capacity production, market prices, trade situation and prosperity index, Ye Jianchun said that in 2015 cotton processing volume was 6 million 750 thousand tons, down 4.9% compared to the same period last year, and the processing volume of cotton spinning chemical fiber short fiber was 12 million 600 thousand tons, an increase of 0.8% over the same period last year.

In 2015, the national yarn production was 18 million 430 thousand tons, down 1.3% compared to the same period, 58 billion 500 million meters, compared with 2.5% next year.

In recent years, the trade situation has mainly shown as follows: the export growth rate is slowing down, and the proportion of import and export trade in processing trade has declined.

Since 2015, China's cotton textile prosperity index is lower than 50, which is below the boom state. Under the two-way extrusion of the supply and demand market, the overall trend is slow downward. In 2016, the year-on-year change began to show negative growth, and the overall trend was also downward.

Combined with the above situation, Ye Jianchun predicted the future industry situation.

Under the new normal situation, the national economic growth rate continued to slow down, the industry maintained a low growth rate, implemented the central government's capacity to go out, the inventory route, and some backward production capacity completely withdrew from the market competition; the industry actively moved towards automation, intelligence, information and quality, variety and brand pformation.

The depreciation of the RMB exchange rate partly offset the trade barriers brought about by the regional trade agreements such as TPP. The foreign trade environment of China's textile industry has not deteriorated. The cotton problem is still a major bottleneck that plagus the pformation and upgrading of the industrial chain. If the cotton circulation system can not be perfected in time, the price difference between inside and outside cotton may expand further, which will directly affect the export of the industry.

Xinjiang yarn has a certain advantage over the mainland in terms of subsidies, but at present, Xinjiang cotton spinning investment is basically saturated, and there is no need to panic too much in the mainland's cotton mill.

Non cotton fiber will further increase its substitution for cotton in the cotton physique adjustment period with various performance, stable quality and adequate supply.

The development direction of technological progress is to develop in the direction of production automation and continuity; to develop online automatic monitoring and testing; to develop new applied spinning technology; and to apply non cotton fiber innovative product structure.

In the future, the capacity of cotton spinning will accelerate from scale to intensive development, especially with new technologies and new technologies as innovation drive, speed up the elimination of backward production capacity, improve the degree of automation of equipment, reduce manpower input, give consideration to quality level, and diversify and diversify products.
