The Tenth Asian Chemical Fiber Conference Held To Explore The Development Of Asian Chemical Fiber Industry
This thematic conference has been the focus of Asian and regional chemical fiber industry. It is the highest level meeting of the Asian chemical fiber industry in two years. As a great event in Asia's chemical fiber industry, the representatives of the above 10 countries and regions respectively have their own Spin The status of the industry and fiber industry has been highlighted, and in-depth discussions and extensive exchanges have been made on the global and Asian chemical fiber industry's medium and long-term supply and demand forecast and structural changes, the demand and Supply Prospect of synthetic fiber raw materials, the influence of the South Korean free trade area on the trade of chemical fiber and textiles, the creation of business opportunities in the plight of the chemical fiber industry, the combination of high-performance textiles and cultural textiles, and the sustainable development and innovation of the fiber development space.
Driven by the growth of market demand, undertaking industrial transfer, and technological progress of the industry, the development of Asian chemical fiber industry has undergone rapid development and structural adjustment. At present, the world's major fiber producers are concentrated in several Asian countries, and the fiber manufacturing industry in developed countries such as Europe and the United States has shrunk. However, they never gave up research in the field of high-tech fibers. In recent years, the call of the developed countries to return to manufacturing is getting higher and higher.
Wang Tiankai, President of the China Federation of textile industry, pointed out in the opening speech of the conference that chemical fiber is an important raw material for the textile industry, and the development of the chemical fiber industry is of great significance to the textile industry chain. The development of Asian chemical fiber industry has undergone the process of rapid transfer and rapid development of developed countries and regions. Now it has become the largest chemical fiber production and consumption area in the world.
Duan Xiaoping, President of the newly elected Asian chemical fiber industry alliance and President of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, pointed out that the Asia chemical fiber conference is an important platform for the exchange of Asian chemical fiber industry. In the past 20 years, it has witnessed the industrial development and transformation of the main chemical fiber producing countries and regions in Asia, and promoted the exchange and cooperation of the industry. In the past 20 years, the Asian chemical fiber industry has developed rapidly, making up about 90% of the world's capacity, and undertaking the important task of leading the further development and transformation of the global chemical fiber industry.
However, the Asian chemical fiber industry is also facing more problems and more complex situations, such as the impact of the new technology revolution, the Internet and other new formats on the industry, the adjustment of the international industrial pattern, and the changing international and regional trade rules and environment. Xiaoping pointed out that the future chemical fiber industry should constantly create and meet the new growth point of demand, and deal with the severe challenges posed by resource and environmental constraints and green and sustainable development.
As the former president of the Asian chemical fiber industry alliance, Mayuree Didpakdeechol, President of Thailand chemical fiber Association, has a deep understanding of the current dilemma of the global chemical fiber industry. She pointed out that major changes have taken place in the business environment of the global chemical fiber industry. Because of the turbulence of world political structure, the change of global economy, the continuous decline of product selling prices, the rising cost of raw materials, the challenge of non-tariff barriers to trade and many other factors, the global chemical fiber industry is facing a difficult situation.
She said that Katsunosuke Maeda, the founder of the Asia chemical fiber conference, has always set the goal of "focusing on the world, and the textile industry is still a growing field." Therefore, the Asian chemical fiber conference should play a more important role in the current new pattern. Industries in Japan, Korea and India have their own characteristics.
The major textile producing countries in Asia are developed economies in the region, including China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India and so on.
Japan's research on carbon fiber, aramid fiber and other high-tech fibers has always been in the forefront of the world and is at the top of the "Pyramid" of the fiber industry. In recent years, Japan has put forward the slogan of "rejuvenation of chemical fiber industry". Its chemical fiber industry has changed to higher value-added products, striving to make breakthroughs in technical textiles, high performance / high functional fibers, and around global warming, pollution and resource shortage.
However, due to many factors such as economic weakness, the development of Japanese chemical fiber industry has also encountered certain challenges. Toshio ASANO, vice president of the Japan Chemical Fiber Association and President of Asahi Asahi company, said that after Japan's consumption tax increased in April 2014, consumers' spending on clothing was not high and demand was low. In 2014, there was also a downturn in the demand for non apparel applications. In 2014, the textile production index of Japan dropped by 1 percentage points over the same period in 2013. According to the analysis of upstream and downstream industries, the output of chemical fiber remains unchanged, weaving output is stable, and apparel and spinning output are low. Among them, the output of chemical fiber was 976 thousand metric tons, which was 0.4% lower than that of the same period last year. The output of cellulose fiber, polyamine fiber and polyester staple fiber increased, but the output of polyester filament decreased by two digits. Toshio ASANO pointed out that Japan will strengthen technology development and expand application fields of new fiber materials in the future, and promote standardized operation (JIS/ISO).
The development of the fiber industry in Korea has slowed down in recent years, and the supply of labor has been decreasing year by year, but this does not mean the inaction of the Korean fiber industry. On the contrary, South Korea has been committed to the development of functional fibers in recent years. At the same time, it has constantly strengthened the basis of cooperation among textile entities, increased investment in vulnerable areas, and ensured competitive advantage. It uses the global value chain to develop export products, promote e-commerce, remove non-tariff barriers, and use export processing zones to maximize the interests of free trade organizations.
India market has great potential at present. India is a big cotton country. Its spinning advantages have been obvious, but the development of the fiber industry has lagged behind the spinning industry. But with the continuous weakening of China's labor cost advantage, India, with its strong economic growth rate and huge consumer base, as well as the competitive cheap labor force and sufficient raw material base, has made the most potential country in the future development of the fiber industry through preferential textile industry policies.
Rajen Udeshi, President of the India synthetic fiber Association, vice chairman of the New Asia chemical fiber industry alliance, pointed out that the growth rate of polyester production in India in 2014 ~2020 is expected to be 6%, with the increase of raw materials PX to 15 million tons, PTA to 22 million tons and MEG to 9 million tons. But he also acknowledged that large-scale capacity growth has affected the start-up rate and profit of enterprises, for example, the current PTA utilization rate is only around 77%.
In addition, the fiber industry in Thailand is not measured in terms of quantity. However, in recent years, Thailand has vigorously promoted the development of the fiber industry, and it has planned a road of "cultural expansion and industrial development". For example, let local brands gain higher popularity and diverse styles, share management knowledge in ASEAN economic community, cooperate with the tourism industry, entertainment and sports industry, and improve the supply chain system.
There is no doubt that in the Asian countries and regions, the most rapid development of the chemical fiber industry is the mainland of China. At present, about 70% of the world's chemical fiber is from mainland China.
In 2014, the added value of China's chemical fiber industry increased by 8.5%, and the chemical fiber industry realized a total profit of 27 billion 730 million yuan, an increase of 11.21% over the same period last year. China's chemical fiber production capacity was 51 million 600 thousand tons, an increase of 49% over 2010, and the output of 43 million 900 thousand tons, an increase of 42% over 2010; 41 million 470 thousand tons of chemical fiber processing, 39% growth over 2010, accounting for nearly 70% of the world's chemical fiber output.
Among them, the differential rate of products was 56%, 10 percentage points higher than that in 2010; the proportion of industrial chemical fiber reached 28%, which was 5 percentage points higher than that in 2010; the productivity of high-performance fibers reached 128 thousand tons, an increase of 132% over 2010; the industrial concentration degree increased, and the capacity of enterprises with a scale of 200 thousand tons or more exceeded 65%, an increase of 17 percentage points over 2010.
It can be said that after more than 10 years of rapid development, China's chemical fiber industry has achieved outstanding results in terms of capacity and product characteristics. But at present, China's chemical fiber has also entered the " New normal goals "It is accelerating the pace of industrial restructuring.
The "new normal" of China's chemical fiber industry is the era of equipment, scale, production and cost. The competition among enterprises has gradually developed into competition among resources, channels, brands, standards and other soft power. In the future, we should speed up product structure adjustment and technological innovation, incremental control, stock optimization and application expansion, and rely on scientific and technological innovation to develop new products that meet market demand.
In this regard, Wang Tiankai pointed out that in the context of the global economy entering the "new normal" and the new round of industrial technology revolution, China's chemical fiber industry is also in a critical period of transformation and upgrading. The task of structural adjustment is arduous. The industry should not only cope with the continuous rise in domestic costs, increase the constraints of resources and environment, and accelerate the adjustment of the global industrial structure, but also grasp the opportunities brought about by the upgrading of domestic consumption and the current biochemical reform, grasp the new formats of new material technology, new energy technology, new biotechnology and Internet +, implement the innovation driven strategy, adjust and optimize the industrial structure, and accelerate the formation of a new competitive advantage with "technology, brand and green" as the core of development.
Wang Tiankai pointed out that competition and cooperation are the normal development of industries in various countries and regions under the background of globalization. The Chinese government, in line with the trend of world multipolarization, economic globalization, cultural diversity and social information, insists on maintaining the spirit of open regional cooperation, speeding up the implementation of the free trade area strategy, promoting the negotiation of China, South Korea, the GCC and other FTA, deepening the China ASEAN FTA negotiations and the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement negotiations. China has also issued a proposal to promote the vision and action of building the Silk Road Economic Belt and the maritime Silk Road in twenty-first Century, and promote the implementation of the "one belt and one way" strategy so as to share China's high-quality industries and advantageous resources. For China These measures will further promote economic cooperation among Asian countries and regions, and the textile and chemical fiber industry will also benefit from this, so as to achieve efficient allocation of regional resources, in-depth development of the market and win-win cooperation in industrial chain.
Wang Tiankai said China Chemical fiber industry The development is inseparable from extensive international cooperation and transnational resource allocation. We advocate the mutual learning, exchange and cooperation between China's textile and chemical fiber industry and its Asian counterparts. It is hoped that with this conference, foreign counterparts can extensively exchange new ideas and new technologies in the chemical fiber industry, share the successful experience of industrial development in various regions, and jointly promote the development of the chemical fiber industry in Asia and even in the world.
