Shaoxing Environmental Protection Bureau official said that in two years, the environmental protection department has punished the Xiong Feng Group's illegal sewage disposal 6 times, with a total fine of 330 thousand yuan.

A high fine of 330 thousand did not allow the Xiong Feng Group to stop the illegal sewage disposal. After investigating the environmental law enforcement officers, it found that after the closure of the textile enterprises of the Xiong Feng Group, 18 unqualified dyeing and printing enterprises were introduced from the outside to the park for production.

It is understood that the 18 employees stationed in the enterprise reached more than 4000 at the most, until the number of people who had stopped production regulation also had more than 2000 people.

"The 18 enterprises have more than 100 million rent a year, and 330 thousand fines are nothing for the Xiong Feng Group."

A person familiar with the matter revealed that after the Xiong Feng group received the rents of the enterprises settled, it was also difficult to manage the sewage problems of these enterprises.

In January 1st this year, the implementation of the new environmental protection law was implemented. The Shaoxing municipal government was determined that the polluting enterprises of the Xiong Feng group could not continue to stop like this.

Wu Jing, deputy director of the Shaoxing Environmental Protection Bureau, said: "in the past, the EPA has only the power to punish and fines illegal businesses and owners. He said that with the increasing concern of the public on environmental protection, the supervision of enterprises is becoming stronger and stronger. Finally, in violation of the relevant provisions of the "environmental protection law of the People's Republic of China", the Xiong Feng group was ordered by the Shaoxing Environmental Protection Bureau to strictly implement 58 rectification standards in the printing and dyeing industry, and the deadline for production stoppage is one year.

Shaoxing Environmental Protection Bureau official said that if the rectification of the Xiong Feng Group is still unable to pass the inspection within a year, then the enterprise will officially shut down.
