Recently, a spokesman for Patagonia confirmed that all Patagonia shops would be closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 27th).

On Friday, Patagonia will also carry out barter activities in its eight physical stores and online stores.

Patagonia said that this is to minimize unnecessary purchases by consumers.

As a large outdoor retailer with annual sales of over $2 billion, REI also firmly chooses to shut down all shops on Thanksgiving Day.

Black Friday will be arranged according to local conditions. It will open at 8 o'clock in the evening.
