Dalang, with a strong wool fabric foundation, has explored a more realistic road for development by actively participating in exhibitions, making industry standards and keeping up with fashion trends. The thirteenth China (Dalang) International Wool Textile Fair will attract a large number of businessmen from home and abroad to build Dalang in this context.

Wool weaving industry has always been a pillar industry in Dalang town.

At present, there are nearly 10000 wool weaving enterprises in Dalang centered industrial cluster, of which only more than 4000 are in Dalang.

In 2002, Dalang town was awarded the title of "China's woolen sweater town" by the China Federation of textile industry. In 2003, it was approved as "Guangdong province specialized town science and technology innovation pilot unit". Since 2005, it has been selected as the pilot unit of Guangdong province to create regional international brand, the Guangdong industrial cluster upgrading demonstration area, the Guangdong province specialized textile town specialized technical innovation pilot (wool specialized town), Guangdong torch plan wool textile characteristic industry base, the only Chinese sweater fashion trend publishing base, the national textile spiritual civilization construction demonstration base.

In 2013, the gross output value of the whole town was only 17 billion 800 million yuan, and the number of CNC looms used by the whole town was over 40 thousand.

In 2014, Dalang was recognized by the Guangdong provincial government as the international sourcing center of Guangdong woolen goods with its profound traditional industrial foundation, the leading industry authority index and the broad prospect of the e-commerce industry system.

Since the birth of weaving trade in 2001, it has become an important platform for Dalang to promote wool weaving enterprises to become bigger and stronger and promote industrial optimization and upgrading.

Weaving also achieved a magnificent pformation from "exhibition" to "fair", from "image exhibition" to "trade show", attracting more than 30 countries and regions.

Purchasers and more than 500 thousand professional buyers from home and abroad have been named as the most influential professional exhibitions and brand exhibitions for many years, becoming the ten outstanding feature exhibitions in China in 2013.

In recent years, Dalang has made efforts to strengthen the four Dalang elements of "Dalang price, Dalang standard, Dalang platform and Dalang market", guiding and encouraging wool weaving enterprises to "work together online and offline" and "walking on two legs" at home and abroad, with obvious results.

First of all, the wool price index has steadily entered the normal release track since its debut last year.

As of mid September, the cumulative 50 weekly index and 12 monthly index were issued.

This year, Dalang also released the latest wool price index information on the China Textile Economic Information Network and the Guangdong price index platform.

Second, create a big business ecosystem.

The Dalang Electronic Commerce Association and the Dalang electronic commerce industry center have reached 100%.

The Alibaba Dalang industrial belt, jointly built by Alibaba group, will also gather more than 500 woollen electric business enterprises.

Dalang also plans to cooperate with the Dunhuang network to build a p border trade platform and further expand its channels for foreign trade.

At present, the town's annual e-commerce sales amount to 5 billion yuan, and the whole town has more than 2800 e-commerce enterprises.

Third, promote the standard of alliance.

Last year, Dalang issued the "Mao knitwear", "eco textiles" and "industrial products water quota wool sweater" and other large wool weaving industry alliance standard.

The two alliance standards of "low wool blended and wool like knitwear" and "wool and knitwear after-sales service specification" formulated by the 9 month of this year will also be released during the weaving conference.

Fourth, organize enterprises to take part in exhibitions and encourage enterprises to actively consolidate foreign markets.

This year, Dalang organized wool weaving enterprises to take part in the fifteenth China Textile and clothing trade exhibition (New York) in July, and will organize a group to attend the Go Tex international textile procurement exhibition in Brazil St Paul in October.

The exhibition time will be adjusted from 4 days to 6 days. The first 3 days will be a professional exhibition, and a sweater festival for professionals and 3 days will be held for people from all walks of life.

At present, booth bookings have been basically completed. Beijing hausen, Guangdong Aihua and other famous brands, Ji fan Deng, Li Zi Ao, impression of prairie, ivera, curly hair and other local fashion brands, as well as Stoll, Cixing, Longxing and other CNC loom brands have been confirmed to participate in the exhibition.

The weaving trade fair will also be enriched with more support.

It shows the wool culture with Dalang characteristics.

The first is a series of fashion activities, including two online and offline design competitions.

That is, the seventh China (Dalang) wool garment online design competition and the twelfth wool garment design competition with the theme of "fashion weaving city creation".

Nearly 800 entries have been received in the online design competition.

The twelfth wool clothing design competition will also start soliciting contributions, and will be finalists during the weaving competition.

In addition, there will be a two season trend: 2015/16 autumn winter woolen garments will be released in a dynamic fashion during the weaving season. The fashion trend of 2015/16 spring and summer woolen garments will be released in China (Dalang) wool textile research and development center.

2014 the "governor Cup" costume design competition is also an excellent event that can not be missed during the weaving competition.

This year, Dalang became the first street town in Dongguan to take part in the competition of the "governor Cup" costume design competition.

In addition, there will be more than 10 cultural activities, such as the exhibition of intangible cultural heritage, the photographic exhibition of wool industry and the exhibition of wool art works.

At the same time, seminars for industry development are also indispensable.

The "Symposium Cup" seminar on the development of the national wool yarn and wool knitted apparel industry chain and the "work conference of the demonstration base of the foreign trade pformation and upgrading of the whole province" are also scheduled to be held in Dalang during the weaving conference.

Dalang will also create "the main venue".

The exhibition hall of pformation and upgrading results will promote the healthy development of wool knitting industry from raw materials, yarn to sweater industry chain.
