In 2014 1-8, the total postal business volume of Dongguan completed 5 billion 556 million yuan, an increase of 36.39% over the same period, of which 232 million of the volume of express business was completed, an increase of 38.74% over the same period last year, and the volume of Dongguan express business ranked third in August.

On the other hand, Dongguan, especially Humen, has become one of the National Express service network centers and pport hub, gathering many well-known express companies at home and abroad.

Up to now, there are 334 legal person enterprises that have obtained the express business license in accordance with the law, and 543 branches have been filed according to law, and 60 thousand of them have been couriers.

According to statistics, in 2013, during the "double eleven" period (from November 11th to 16th), 30 major express enterprises in Dongguan produced 12 million 149 thousand and 100 pieces of goods in Dongguan, accounting for 16.34% of the total in the province, an increase of 51.41% over the previous year; 5 million 906 thousand and 800 pieces were sent, accounting for 15.68% of the total proportion of the province, representing an increase of 35.94% over the same period.
