< p > TT Limited is a well-known supplier of "a" href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/" yarn "/a" supplier in China. On the 2013 imported yarn forum held recently, the reporter interviewed the company's marketing director Sanjay K Jain.

< /p >

< p > reporter: data show that in 2012, China imported pure cotton yarn from India, an increase of 123.63% over the same period last year.

This year 1~4 months, China's imports of pure cotton yarn from India increased by nearly a step faster, up 140.56% over the same period last year.

What do you think is the advantage of pure cotton yarn in India? < /p >

< p > Sanjay K Jain: first of all, India has great advantages in cotton resources.

India has the largest cotton growing area in the world, reaching 11 million 500 thousand hectares.

The annual output of cotton is about 6 million tons, and its consumption is about 4 million 500 thousand tons. There are about 1 million 500 thousand tons of self sufficiency available for export.

The adequate supply of cotton makes India spinning enterprises dominate the cost of cotton.

Since 2008, the spot price of cotton in India has been lower than the spot price of cotton in China.

Since 2011, the difference between them has reached the highest price of nearly 12000 yuan / ton, currently around 8000 yuan / ton.

As the output of cotton in India is relatively low at present, it is only 500 kg / ha. In the long run, India's cotton output also has huge room for growth.

In addition, India is slowly becoming an important source of organic cotton and high quality cotton.

< /p >

< p > secondly, India's a href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/news/" > spinning industry < /a > has grown rapidly in recent years, with 48 million ingot capacity, annual output of 4 million 800 thousand tons, and 20% cotton yarn exports. It is the second largest spinning country after China, and is also the largest exporter of cotton yarn in the world.

India has a strong a target= "_blank" href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/" > textile < /a > mechanical basis. In recent years, investment in the spinning industry has been increasing. The spinning enterprises have advanced automation equipment and adopt efficient modern textile technology.

Cotton yarn production in India is expected to increase by 12% this year.

< /p >

< p > nowadays, India has become a country with strong competitiveness in 20S~50S cotton yarn. In recent years, the export volume of India's cotton yarn has been growing at an annual rate of 10%~15%.

At present, China is the largest export market of India's cotton yarn, occupying 45% of the total market share.

< /p >

< p > reporter: can you introduce the basic situation of India yarns? < /p >

< p > Sanjay K Jain: India yarn 75% is cotton yarn, blended yarn and chemical yarn only account for 25%.

Judging from the varieties, 20S accounted for 34%, 21S~40S accounted for 52%, and 41S accounted for 14%.

The output of combed yarn is 53%.

Combed yarn is mainly used for export, and the export of combed cotton yarn is also increasing due to Chinese demand.

At present, 15% of combed yarn and 33% combed yarn are used for export.

India's spinning industry is concentrated in the south, and its output accounts for 55% of the total output.

< /p >

< p > India cotton 90% is 28mm~30mm in length, mainly using double roller ginning machine, so yarn neps are few.

However, due to the fact that India's cotton is picked by manpower and the processing is lack of organization, the pollution of cotton is serious.

Many < a href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/news/index_c.asp" > cotton < /a > micron value is low, length is longer, more suitable for producing knitting yarn.

< /p >

< p > India yarn is divided into S6, MCU5, DCH32 and other different types, using different cotton, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

For example, S6 has good absorbency, gloss and strength; J34 is good in dyeing, but contains many impurities.

Because of the different cotton used, the yarn quality also varies.

The diversity of India cotton yarn is not only reflected in the number of branches, but also in the aspects of evenness, pollution, intensity and dyeing.

< /p >

< p > because of the high cost of electricity in India, its high count yarn and viscose yarn are less competitive.

< /p >

< p > reporter: most Chinese enterprises do not know much about India counterparts.

Please introduce TT limited company.
