Yesterday morning, Yang Kui of Zhejiang Lima Leather Industry Co., Ltd. hurried to Wenzhou airport. He would take the morning flight to her hometown, Sichuan and Dujiangyan.

Because in the May 12th Wenchuan earthquake, his house collapsed and his parents moved into the shed.

In order to get him home early and help himself after the disaster, the company paid him in advance.

Yang Kui's hometown, Dujiangyan, was also hit hard this time. At 12 o'clock in the afternoon at 3 o'clock, Yang Kui was disturbed when he heard that his hometown had an earthquake. He was very worried about his elderly parents and children who were thousands of miles away.

At 5 p.m. that day, anxious Yang Kui finally called home.

When the earthquake happened, the family's house collapsed in the earthquake. Fortunately, the parents were working in the field, and the children were in school to avoid the disaster.

In order to help migrant workers from Sichuan earthquake stricken areas like Yang Kui to help themselves after the disaster, many enterprises in Lishui economic development zone have taken corresponding measures.

Zhejiang Horton synthetic leather Co., Ltd. has 30 employees from Sichuan, including 4 employees in Mianyang near the disaster area.

Xu Yousong, director of the company's office, told reporters that 3 of the 4 employees were contacted with their families. The houses in the family collapsed in the earthquake, and a worker Zhang Jijun has not contacted with his family so far.

"Before the workers came home, we found that we were going to quit their jobs. We advised him to quit their jobs, which would have an impact on their future work. If they asked for leave, all the old treatment after returning would remain unchanged, and we would still calculate the length of service allowance."

Xu Yousong said that, taking into account the difficulties in rebuilding the disaster area, the company relaxed the rules, and employees could ask for six months' leave. "We are preparing to mobilize staff to raise funds to give certain subsidies to the migrant workers who are in trouble."

Liu, director of the office of Volkswagen valve (Lishui) Limited, told reporters that their company had 17 employees from Sichuan. After the earthquake, the enterprises had a timely understanding of the disaster situation of the employees' hometown, most of the employees were not in the hardest hit areas, and the situation was relatively stable.

Only one Zhang Songbai from Bazhong has not contacted with his younger brother in secondary school in Wenchuan. So far, enterprises have been helping Zhang Songbai to make contacts with Sichuan.

In addition, the "Volkswagen valve" will also mobilize all staff this afternoon to raise donations for the earthquake stricken areas in Sichuan.

In the interview, the reporter learned that at present, enterprises in the development zone are generally aware of the situation of migrant workers from the disaster areas in Sichuan. Some owners said that they had an earthquake at home, and that it was the responsibility of the owners to help their employees rebuild their homes.
