Third Quarter Sales Rise

Hermes group's sales in the third quarter increased by 16%, so the company has increased its sales target in 2011, and is expected to increase its target from the original 12%-14% growth rate to 15%-16%.


Mr. CEOPatrickThomas has previously said that this growth rate is likely to lead to insufficient inventory and insufficient supply of products, but at present, the company has made corresponding adjustments in this regard to meet orders.


In the third quarter ended in September 30th, Hermes's revenue reached $967 million 200 thousand, compared with $761 million 200 thousand in the same period last year. The company's sales in the first 9 months have exceeded $2 billion 790 million, an increase of 19.5% over the same period last year.


Sales of brand clothing and accessories increased by 28.9%, sales of silk products increased by 21%, and sales of leather goods increased by 8.1%. At present, Japan's sales performance is the best, rising by 28.9%, followed by Europe, an increase of 21.3%.
