H&M Children'S Clothing Fiber Content Is Not Up To "GB"

Shanghai City Consumer Protection Committee released yesterday's circulation of children's products comparative test shows that the recent sampling of children, infant clothing and children's shoes pass rate is only 79% and 50%.

It involves nearly 40 production and distribution enterprises in 6 provinces and cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian and Guangdong, and more than 20 famous and relatively large sales brands.

After testing, 8 samples of clothing for children and infants were not up to standard. The main problems existed were inaccurate marking of fiber content, pH value and color fastness which did not meet the standards.

The test results showed that the fiber contents of the 4 samples produced by Haines Morris (Shanghai) Commercial Co., Ltd. and "H&M" brand baby coats were not up to the national standard; the 2 samples of the CHK girls' Lapel half sleeve coat (trade mark: CHEROKEE) produced by Shanghai Dali RFA Co., Ltd. were measured by pH, which exceeded the national standard requirements; 2 samples of color fastness of women's trousers (trademarks: mccoe de FE) produced by Shanghai Shang Kang Clothing Co., Ltd. were not in conformity with the national standards.
