US Cotton Adopts Measures To Increase Delivery Speed Of US Cotton

The Cotton Circulation Research Committee of the cotton Federation has identified the focus of its work and formulated corresponding policies based on the recommendations of the twenty-first Century vision project.

First of all, through research, we have formulated rewards and punishments for active performance and non performing enterprises; secondly, we urge the organization responsible for formulating cotton trading rules to be more creative in drafting and auditing rules so as to ensure that the terms of the paction do not delay cotton.

The cotton Federation and the cotton circulation research committee believe that in the current market conditions, ensuring timely delivery is the benefit of the US cotton enterprises and maintaining the international market.

In order to solve the problem of timely delivery, cotton will reactivate its compliance and standard working group.

The working group recently held a meeting to focus on how to help the industry implement these policies.

They put forward 12 proposals, which include: adjusting the standard of warehousing charges, paying more attention to the circulation of stock rather than long-term storage; creating longer chain management chains, such as better coordinating the distribution, ginning and warehousing processes of cotton growers through systematic methods, and relaxing the process of selecting cotton bags, such as the average value of four packages or one cotton mold.

It is reported that the US cotton association is going to discuss these policy options at the annual meeting of directors held in August. If passed, it will help ensure the supply of US cotton in the harvest season and deliver them to domestic and foreign customers in a timely manner.
