China's PTA industry has finally gained the opportunity to breathe and develop again. The two phase of Xiang Lu petrochemical project has been restarted and is expected to be put into operation in mid 2012.
China's PTA production capacity now accounts for 15 million 500 thousand tons, accounting for 41% of Asia's total capacity and 34% of the world's total capacity. However, domestic demand is huge, and there is still room for growth.
The first phase of Shishi Jialong petrochemical PTA project invested 2 billion 700 million yuan in real terms, with a budget of 3 billion 850 million yuan for the second phase and a 1 million 100 thousand ton PTA plant with an annual capacity of more than 1 million 700 thousand tons.
This case of foreign anti-dumping cases has boosted the confidence of China's PTA industry, and has also had a positive impact on the construction of Shishi PTA two phase.
