On August 30th, PEAK announced its first half results, with a turnover of 1 billion 809 million yuan, an increase of 33% over the same period last year.

Gross profit was 681 million yuan, an increase of 31.8% over the same period, gross margin of 37.7%, net profit of 347 million yuan, an increase of 29.6% over the same period last year.

Net profits were 582 million yuan, 760 million yuan and 372 million 500 thousand yuan respectively.

Meanwhile, the 31st annual report shows that the turnover of the company is 4 billion 330 million yuan, an increase of 25.7% over the same period last year, and net profit of 916 million yuan, an increase of 45% over the same period last year.


PEAK is still the largest source of total revenue in China, accounting for 89.3% of the total turnover.

The turnover of domestic market and overseas market increased by 31.2% and 52.7% respectively over the same period last year.


In the first half of the year, the gross interest rate of the company's clothing products declined, mainly because the increase in production costs was higher than the price of its products.

The decline in gross profit rate of clothing products offset a slight increase in gross margin of footwear products, showing a slight decrease in gross profit margin in the first half.


The disproportionate increase in the production cost of clothing products is mainly due to the increase in the direct labor cost during the period, which has increased the average unit price of the clothing products from 42.5 yuan in the first half of 09 years to 43.4 yuan in the first half of this year, or 2.1%.


In the first half of this year, more than 560 PEAK authorized retail outlets (excluding basketball theme shops) were opened, and the company will increase 1000 authorized retail outlets by the end of 2010 according to the plan.


In addition, 28 new basketball theme shops have been opened in the first half of the year.

While PEAK authorized the area of retail outlets, the company plans to increase the average area from 74 square meters to 80 square meters.

In July 28th, the company entered into the e-commerce market for the first time through cooperation with Taobao.
