Sichuan Held A Symposium On Footwear Export Enterprises

In order to understand the export situation of footwear in Sichuan Province, help enterprises to accurately grasp the situation, effectively respond to challenges, and strive to expand exports, Liu Xin, deputy director of Sichuan provincial chamber of Commerce, held a forum on footwear export enterprises in the afternoon of July 14th in Chengdu chamber of Commerce Conference Room. The main export enterprises of Chengdu footwear industry, Chengdu customs, Sichuan entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Provincial Bureau of foreign trade, Chengdu Municipal Taxation Bureau, Chengdu city commercial bureau, Wuhou District government, Wuhou shoe city management committee and relevant departments of our office attended the meeting.

The participating enterprises introduced the current export and hand orders and the export situation in the second half of the year, put forward suggestions for expanding the export of footwear and speeding up the development of the footwear industry. The relevant departments of the provincial and city departments have answered the questions raised by the enterprises and introduced the policies and measures of their departments to support the rapid development of footwear enterprises and expand their exports.

At the meeting, Liu Xin, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, informed the development of foreign trade and footwear exports in the first half of this year. He stressed: in recent years, the footwear industry in Sichuan has developed rapidly, the industrial foundation has been consolidated gradually, and the export has been continuously improving. In the first half of this year, exports have been growing at a high speed. We need to further understand the situation and accurately grasp the situation. The current and long-term organic combination of provinces, cities, counties, intermediaries and enterprises will link up, and strive to maintain good export momentum in the first half of the year, and strive to export up to 1 billion US dollars in the first half of the year, so as to accelerate the pace of development of the footwear industry in Sichuan.
