The Angola International Trade Fair is the largest comprehensive exhibition in West Africa. After 27 successful sessions (each year), it has high popularity and influence in Angola and West Africa. Even during the civil war, the exhibition has not been stopped, and the huge market needs and vast market space to replace South Africa and become the largest trading partner in Africa in Angola.

After years of civil war in Angola, pportation infrastructure has been severely damaged. Hydropower and communication networks are being built. Engineering and pavement machinery and construction raw materials and large agricultural machinery are in great demand.

5. Last year's exhibition review:

In the recently concluded 2009 Angola international trade fair, the exhibits include generators, pumps, agricultural machinery, motorcycles and accessories, cars and their accessories, mobile phones, air conditioners, plastic pipes, building materials, stone, hardware tools, hand tools, cloth and so on.

All the exhibitors found cooperative customers during the exhibition. The exhibition received good results.

The exhibition is divided into 6 indoor exhibition halls and outdoor areas. Apart from our exhibitors, there are also exhibitors from various industries including Brazil, Portugal, South Africa, Germany, France, Spain, Cuba, Namibia, Garner, Uruguay, Holland and so on. A total of more than 400 enterprises participate in this exhibition.

During the exhibition, the ambassadors and business representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Angola visited the exhibition site to analyze the needs of the Angola market and the prospect of China's products entering the Angola market.

According to relevant data, in 2006, Angola's total foreign trade volume was about US $44 billion 700 million, total exports amounted to US $33 billion 700 million, and total imports amounted to US $11 billion.

In 2005, the total foreign trade volume was about US $33 billion, total exports amounted to US $24 billion 800 million, and total imports amounted to US $8 billion 200 million.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce of China, the total trade volume between China and Angola was 11 billion 800 million US dollars in 2006, an increase of 70.1% over the same period last year, of which China exported 900 million US dollars and imports 10 billion 900 million US dollars.
