2009 China Import And Export Fair Opens

One of the exhibitions that is listed as the "national growth and expansion of domestic demand", the 2009 China Import and export commodities fair and the International Industrial Exhibition (IEC) is held at the two venues of the World Expo Plaza and the Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center. Despite the impact of the international financial crisis, the exhibition attracted enterprises and purchasers from more than 20 countries and regions, including Japan, Korea, Russia, the United States, Germany and so on, showing a total area of nearly 40 thousand square meters with a total of more than 1500 booths. The exhibition area has 6 professional exhibition areas, including machine tool and equipment manufacturing, industrial control and automation, metallurgy and metal materials, rubber and plastic industry and overseas group, attracting thousands of exhibitors at home and abroad. Based on the strong industrial advantages of the northeast region and highlighting the characteristics of the industrial exposition, this is the biggest highlight of this great trade fair. The northeast region has vast territory and perfect basic conditions, especially the implementation of the strategy to revitalize the old industrial base in Northeast China, which has enhanced the competitive advantage and focusing effect of the northeast industry in the global resource allocation. On the basis of adhering to specialization, this year's grand fair continues to focus on promoting production support, product matching, economic and technological cooperation and industrial intensive development of industrial enterprises, focusing on exhibition as platform, project as carrier, trade as a link and forum as guidance. In particular, the participation of northeast industrial clusters, which takes machine tools and manufacturing equipment as the main body, has become the highlight of demonstrating the strong industrial base and huge market potential in Northeast China; and the joining of electronic, automation and instrumentation enterprises at home and abroad has provided an opportunity for the old industrial bases to upgrade and transform traditional industries, promote product upgrading and industrial restructuring with modern information technology. Therefore, despite the deepening impact of the international financial crisis, the great trade fair still attracts Japanese brands such as Japan, China, the Panasonic, Germany, ABB, the United States, the United States, and Sweden.

Dai Yulin, vice mayor of the municipal Party committee, said that the grand fair as an important international industrial Expo held in the northeast, the ring economic zone and the Northeast Asian Economic Zone, will become a propeller for promoting economic development in the region. The grand fair was founded in 1987. After 22 years of cultivation, it has become an important exhibition to promote export trade, foreign capital utilization and opening up to the outside world in Northeast China.
