Designers Struggling With Life -- Zhang Xiaofeng

It never occurred to me that in 1991, when he returned to Ningbo from the Central Academy of Arts and crafts (now Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts), he began to have an insoluble relationship with the garment industry for more than 20 years.

The three "first time"

He was admitted to the fashion design, only three boys in the class. After graduation, he was assigned to the silk embroidery factory subordinate to the second light Bureau in Ningbo. The young boy's heart made him run away in half a year. In 90s, when department stores flourished, the department store made him earn the first pot of gold in life, and finally set up his own design studio. The studio was named "golden pin", which was the same name as the French Advanced handmade fashion innovation award known as "clothing Oscar". At that time, Zhang Xiaofeng, who was only 24 years old, had a sacred dream.

In 90s, the Chinese clothing industry was like a hazy morning. In 1994, Zhang Xiaofeng's first fashion model team in Ningbo was like a rising sun. It first outlined the fashionable face of Ningbo people. He led the studio to design hundreds of fashions in just a month, and released the first large-scale fashion show in Ningbo in 1996. It is also the first large-scale fashion show in Ningbo, which is famous for its clothing industry in the future.

Until now, Zhang Xiaofeng still remembered that day, when the model walked slowly in the fashion of his own design, the excitement and stunning expression of the audience. On that day, everything was unprecedented. Then, in 1997, Zhang Xiaofeng, the first person in Ningbo fashion show, CO ordinated the first international dress festival in Ningbo, which officially opened the 16 year journey of Ningbo Fashion Festival.

And these three "first" unconsciously linked Zhang Xiaofeng and Ningbo clothing together.

The first Ningbo International

The red flag of the festival ignited the passion of the Ningbo government and local clothing enterprises. In 1998, the Ningbo clothing association was formally established.

In the glorious years of the rapid development of the garment industry, Zhang Xiaofeng devoted all his mind and body to the work of the association.

Zhang Xiaofeng is the fourth Secretary General of the Ningbo clothing association and the first full-time secretary of the association.

In the eight years of his term of office, Zhang Xiaofeng completed the three stage jump with the clothing association: from the office of the tens of square meters of two people to the lakeside, the Bund, the studio with artistic atmosphere; from two employees to 4 departments, founded the association publications, and established the association service website and more than 300 member enterprises; in 2012, Zhang Xiaofeng's ideal was to complete third three level jumps, cooperate with the government and enterprises, integrate resources on line and offline, and complete the three jump of Ningbo from the big clothing market and the strong clothing market to the real fashion capital.

Ningbo has been in pition, and Zhang Xiaofeng has been working hard.

An accident, rewriting life

Ningbo international costume festival is like the most precious works of Zhang Xiaofeng's paintbrush.

It was not until 2009 that the famous international clothing festival of Ningbo was in its thirteenth year. However, on the last day of the year of clothing festival, Zhang Xiaofeng went to Yuyao fur Festival without stopping for lunch. On the way to drive, a sudden and almost fatal accident completely changed his life.

On his way to Yuyao, Zhang Xiaofeng suddenly noticed that he kept yawning. He maintained a high concentration during the costume festival. He thought it was unusual.

He did not feel tired, but his eyes closed slowly without listening. After a few minutes, the foot on the accelerator began to become numb.

Zhang Xiaofeng realized that his body was abnormal. In dizziness, he stopped the car in an emergency. His left hand pulled his wallet and his right hand clasped his cell phone and staggered into a nearby hotel. Before he could explain the situation, he collapsed.

When he woke up again, it was more than 10 days later.

From the moment he opened his eyes, life turned into a game and a disaster.

Zhang Xiaofeng did not know that in his more than 10 days of coma, his wife had received 6 dangerous notices, and he did not know that he was suffering from sudden severe cerebral hemorrhage, resulting in hemiplegia and naming aphasia on the right side. He did not even know that the doctor said he would be permanently disabled even if he woke up. He could not even see that his head was doubled by the congestion in his brain, and his right half face was also crooked.

At the moment of his awakening, he only found that he had something to say, but his mouth could not vomit even a word; the body clearly wanted to move, but the hands and feet did not listen at all, and the whole body was not controlled by itself.

"How can a good person suddenly be destroyed?" Zhang Xiaofeng said, remembering this disastrous accident, he could not help asking himself.

He admits that he is a strong man. He does not allow himself to be paralyzed. Even if he is disabled for life, he must be a disabled person who can walk, write, and speak.

In order to minimize the risk and sequela, the family decided to take conservative treatment of Zhang Xiaofeng and to take medicine and infusion to eliminate intracranial congestion and lower blood pressure.

After being paralyzed in bed for two months, Zhang Xiaofeng could gradually leave the bed and sit in a wheelchair, and began to barely speak some words.

Zhang Xiaofeng recalled that in the early days of rehabilitation, he was very anxious or irritated every day, and his head was clear, but he could not finish a complete sentence.

At that time, the phone on the job was uninterrupted. Zhang Xiaofeng persistently asked his family to hold the phone for him. He used all his strength to answer the person on the phone and did not know if the other side could understand it.

Zhang Xiaofeng said that he could only push himself like this. The doctor told him frankly that under ideal circumstances, his body could only recover to 80% to 90%, and only by insisting on constant exercise and changing his habits and habits would he have the chance to achieve it.

After leaving the first Ningbo people's Hospital for rescue, Zhang Xiaofeng accompanied his wife to the Shanghai rehabilitation hospital for physical therapy.

His wife Chen Qiaoqiong said that during the whole process of pfer, she had to cautiously hold the head of Zhang Xiaofeng which had not yet completely disappeared. The doctor said that Zhang Xiaofeng might be in danger once again on the road.

On the day of Shanghai, Zhang Xiaofeng could only eat 22 white rice and a bowl of drops of vegetable oil soup every day. During the day, he had to do some physiotherapy. In just two months, he lost more than 20 jin.

Chen Qiaoqiong said that Zhang Xiaofeng used to be able to talk, but he could not even tell the simplest things after his illness.

In the rehabilitation hospital, Zhang Xiaofeng's first course was to look at the picture. A pamphlet was painted with ducks, birds and other animals. Zhang Xiaofeng stared at the picture on the paper. But he was unable to hold back a sentence. Things that were simple and familiar in the past had become meaningless patterns.

Besides naming aphasia, paralysis of the right half also made Zhang Xiaofeng lose his ability to write.

Zhang Xiaofeng, who did not admit defeat, began to learn to write with his left hand. Until he had had more than a year of illness, he could finally write again through regular practice every day.

At least I'm still alive.

Life is so long. For Zhang Xiaofeng, this unexpected accident completely changed his trajectory.

At the age of forty, in the peak period of the career, the accumulation of the first half seemed to be wiped out by a big hand mercilessly and trapped in a two grade disabled body.

Zhang Xiaofeng said that since he came to himself in a coma, he was deeply disappointed and even inspired him to give up the idea of self abandonment. But he was not reconciled to the situation.

Doctors say that only one or two of the ten patients can survive such a severe sudden cerebral hemorrhage as Zhang Xiaofeng.

After the onset of illness, it is rare to recover through constant physical training. Zhang Xiaofeng jokes that doctors say he is a classic of the hospital history.

People who know Zhang Xiaofeng say that he used to be a workaholic. He should do anything he wants.

Zhang Xiaofeng himself admits that working overtime until three or four in the morning is a common occurrence. Long term high intensity work and irregular pace of life accumulate over time, leading to the outbreak of this serious illness.

Unable to speak, unable to walk the dark years, let him begin to rethink the meaning of life.

Others always say that without experience of life and death, they will not understand the value of life.

Zhang Xiaofeng, who struggled in pain, finally found that everything that was important before was so insignificant in life.

"At least I'm still alive," Zhang Xiaofeng said in his heart every day.

He did not even have time to feel pity for himself. He had no choice but to exercise actively and to survive.

Six months after the onset of the disease, Zhang Xiaofeng's left foot began to move again, but when he walked, he needed his wife to lift his right foot with a rope. After a year, he could walk by himself.

Though walking slowly, his right foot was still a little limp. At the very beginning, he walked for an hour at a distance of only one hundred meters. His family looked at him in spite of their pain but did not dare to advise him. Then the pace of work accelerated every day. Zhang Xiaofeng also formed a habit of walking around the gym for two hours every day.

Zhang Xiaofeng said that every day when he got up at 6 o'clock, after breakfast, he walked slowly to the gym for half an hour, walked around the gym for two hours, then walked back to the association office again. After finishing his work in the afternoon, he went on to do yoga and swimming.

Two hours walking, plus one hour of yoga and one hour swimming, even for a healthy person, is a considerable amount of exercise. Zhang Xiaofeng, who is still recovering from physical fitness, has persevered with astounding perseverance.

Last year's thirty night, after dinner with his family, Zhang Xiaofeng stubbornly pressed the cold wind and walked to the gym.

There were very few people in the streets, and there were lively laughter everywhere. The lantern lanterns in front of him were dazed, but in the huge gymnasium there was only one limp.

Zhang Xiaofeng said, at that time, the complex feelings in the heart did not know where to begin.

He used to be an outdoor adventurer and walked through the south of the city. Later, he could only force himself to shave with his left hand. He always shaved his face at the beginning. Now he can skillfully use his left hand to tie his shoelaces, and even cook meals for his family everyday.

Chen Qiaoqiong said that before the onset of Zhang Xiaofeng's disease, she had cooked meals at home, and he liked to eat crucian carp he liked most.

After his illness, Zhang Xiaofeng did not treat himself as a patient. He still chopped vegetables and cooked food. When Chen Qiaoqiong was distressed, he had to get along with him in an equal manner, for fear that excessive protection would hurt his self-esteem.

Zhang Xiaofeng said, "at that time, who helped me was killing me, and my hands and feet were on me. I could only rely on myself."

Three years later, from paralysis and aphasia to standing up and walking around, Zhang Xiaofeng said he had listened to cynicism, met with questioning and exclusion, and deeply felt the love and care of his friends and family.

Although the right hand has not yet fully recovered from paralysis, Zhang Xiaofeng can still use his left hand to sign his name lightly on the roster while attending the business activities. Although his right leg is somewhat limp, he still exercises more than three hours a day, even when the typhoon "anemone" comes.

From driving to Yuyao, it was only two hours before and after the crash, and this short two hour almost cleared Zhang Xiaofeng's first half life.

He said that the hard won later life brought him more wisdom that he had never known before.

Insisting on exercise has made him subtract the load that the body does not need. The healthy life rule has made him say goodbye to the "three high", and the slow speech speed has given him more room for thought.

"Yoga and swimming not only make my stiff limbs soft and soft, but also bring me great peace," said Zhang Xiaofeng.

The most passionate colleagues, the strongest friends

An irreversibly serious illness, from despair to miracles, Zhang Xiaofeng is not fighting alone. His family, friends and colleagues support him and encourage him to find his own value again.

Chen Guoqiang and Zhang Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary General of the Ningbo Municipal People's government, have maintained their relationship with teachers and friends for more than 20 years. In his eyes, Zhang Xiaofeng was passionate about the clothing industry from beginning to end.

"The association is like a bridge between the government and enterprises. It is complicated and difficult to work.

From the first to the present, the clothing festival in Ningbo has passed over ten years. I have witnessed the efforts of Xiaofeng. If there is no passion for clothes, it is impossible to stick to it. "

In life, Chen Guoqiang believes that Zhang Xiaofeng's experience of getting up again from his illness made him moved. "When I met Zhang Xiaofeng, he was still a student.

After so many years of friendship, we were very sad after his accident.

But with his amazing perseverance, he continued to exercise every day, and when he got better, he began to work again. Everyone admired him.

Two hours before Zhang Xiaofeng's disease, he had lunch with his colleagues and Li Qiming, vice president of Ningbo clothing association.

"It was the last day of the costume festival. Zhang Xiaofeng and I had a colleague who hurried to their next job, who knew that two hours later he received a call from his wife."

Li Qiming said that Zhang Xiaofeng has done his duty in the work. It is obvious to all of the more than 10 years of Ningbo's clothing industry. "He brought the first large-scale fashion show and the first clothing festival to Ningbo, and has been running between the enterprises and the government. It has created a communication and communication platform for Ningbo's clothing enterprises. Ningbo's garment enterprises have also united to bring the clothing industry of Ningbo to the leading position in the country.

Over the past decade, he has been actively organizing the clothing enterprises in Ningbo to visit and study overseas. He has also tried to contact many overseas enterprises to enter Ningbo. It can be said that he has made great efforts in the pformation of Ningbo's international fashion and fashion.

For example, this year, his body is still recovering, but he still organized the clothing companies in Ningbo and personally led them to study and exchange in Canada, South Korea and other places. His dedication and perseverance were very touched by our colleagues who had worked together for many years.

Zeng today's desperately thirst, now the biggest wish is to use his left hand to pick up his favorite brush, Zhang Xiaofeng said, painting can bring him peace and happiness; once a work maniac, now the biggest desire is to give birth to a healthy baby with his wife, Zhang Xiaofeng said, boys and girls he likes.

In his face, you can never find a trace of inferiority or loss. When walking, he is always the most upright person in the crowd.

At work, Zhang Xiaofeng still habitually buried his curled right hand palm in his trouser pocket. He might not be able to hold every visitor's right hand, but he could give everyone a big hug.

He said he had been dealing with clothes all his life.

The costume festival is like your own child. When the body is at its worst, it never wants to let go, because it has long been a part of itself.

Zhang Xiaofeng's body is like a horse that never loses. He sprinkles sweat to irrigate his dream.
