Nowadays, Liu Xinhua Already has more than 380 slipper franchises, all over the country, a year sales of up to 20 million. Liu Xuanzao said, according to convention, the company has to visit the franchisee once a year.

Although many years away from home, Liu Xuanzao's Mandarin is still mingled with Xiantao dialect. In his hometown, Liu Xuanzao has always been a very restless man. After graduating from high school in 1979, he worked in the family and worked as a foundry worker, and later became a scout in Henan for 4 years. After being demobilized, he worked as a grinder, sold Wuchang fish, and planted mushrooms. He tried everything because of poor management.

The Canton Fair in 1993 changed Liu Xuanzao's fate. He and fashion home Slipper Fall in love at first sight, then open a slipper store. Today, his fashion home slippers shop has spread all over the country. CCTV has made an exclusive interview with him because of its innovative business model and high-end products.

Liu Xuan was not willing to stay in the countryside for a lifetime. At the beginning of 1992, he went to Wuhan to work, and the news of a piece of tofu found on the telephone pole brightened his eyes. The paper says that the cultivation of edible mushrooms can become tens of thousands of households in just a few months, and he has made contact with the other party.

At that time, learning the technology of edible fungi plus venture capital needed more than 5000 yuan, and Liu Xuanzao did not have to borrow friends and relatives everywhere. At first small scale, rented seven or eight rooms, about 300 square meters, less than half a year, earned a small sum of money. As a result, under the excitement, Liu Xuan had doubled the scale of production, but could not keep up with technology and management. In the end, all the edible mushrooms were polluted, and he lost more than 10000 yuan.

"It's very difficult to borrow money if business is lost." Liu Xuan said that he had to take his wife and son to work in Guangzhou. However, he always believed in his heart that if he kept looking for it, he would always find the way to get rich and he would succeed.

In the spring of 1993, Liu Xuan, who had failed in business, became an employee of a small shoe factory in Guangzhou. He spent more than 10 hours on the assembly line every day, with a monthly salary of only 300 yuan.

In April, the seventy-third Canton Fair was held in Guangzhou. It is not hard to care for people. A booth selling home slippers attracts his attention. The slippers are colorful and different in style, neatly placed on a big shoe rack. They are beautiful, and their feet are soft and comfortable. "Slippers like that can't be seen in the market." Liu Xuan morning recalled.

As soon as I inquired, the original slippers manufacturers only do export business, not domestic sales. Liu Xuan had long thought that such a large number of consumers in China would surely make money if they could open a store of home slippers.

No money, no equipment, no factory building, no technology, only a preliminary idea. It was a bit of a dream for the then poor Liu Xuan early. Sure enough, Liu Xuan went to several foreign manufacturers of slippers. The other side said that the domestic consumption level is not high and is not optimistic. "New products are not available. We will help you sell the inventory products." So he talked with these factories about buying stock slippers. After several consultations, Liu Xuanzao finally got 600 pairs of household slippers.

Liu Xuan early borrowed money from his family, and finally rented a pavement in downtown Guangzhou, named "love home slippers" shop. Colorful slippers placed in the store, very attractive, 35 yuan a pair, sold very hot, a month down, remove facade rents, net profit of 11 thousand yuan.

The manufacturer sees that there is a real sale, and finally refuses to reject Liu Xuan. However, the products are still mainly in stock.

Self created trailing slippers open market

It's not easy to make slippers, but it's even harder to sell slippers. Liu Xuanzao thinks that the high price is not a problem, but most afraid of the old style and color, it is difficult to mobilize the desire of customers to buy. Thus, the rural man who only had high school culture began to catch up with the trend. He also bought many fashion magazines and began to design slippers himself.

One day, Liu Xuanzao really invented a pair of new slippers. At that time, Liu Xuan had to bring his two-year-old son home at night. But his son was urging everywhere, so that Liu Xuan, who had been tired for a day, didn't want to stoop again. So he thought of a lazy way to throw the cloth onto the floor directly and to sweep the floor with his feet. "So wipe and wipe, suddenly one day came up with an idea: if slippers can wipe the floor directly, it should be a good idea."

After several improvements, Liu Xuanzao's own ground slippers are available. The sole is a mop, which can be dismantled and thrown directly into the washer for cleaning. After washing, clicking, putting it back, and then dragging it again, effortlessly and without delay, is especially suitable for dragging the floor with the child.

After the launching of the ground slippers, customers are welcome immediately. At this point, close to the year, some banks, tobacco companies and other units come to the store to buy, as a unit of welfare to employees, a month to sell six hundred or seven hundred pairs.

World War I became famous. Liu Xuan early seems to have opened the train of thought of design at once, followed by office slippers, four seasons slippers and massage slippers.

Switch to selling health pillow missing 300 thousand

In 1995, Liu Xuanzao's younger brother and several friends wanted to invest in health care pillows. "At that time, domestic health products had good returns, so they gave up the Guangzhou slippers shop and returned home to Wuhan." Liu Xuan said earlier that he would save 300 thousand yuan of savings in Guangzhou and put it all into health care products. At that time, we all felt that health products would bring more profits and decided to gamble.

The 5 partners invested a total of 1 million yuan to produce and sell health care products on their own. By the end of 1998, their health pillows were officially launched into the market. The products were sold in the bed products area of 5 big shopping malls in Wuhan, priced at 98 yuan a month, and sold only more than 100 in a month. Although the profits were high, the shopping malls were slow to receive money, and they were not able to settle accounts for one quarter. Until the end of 1999, sales of products did not improve. After consultation, they decided to give up the project. All the machines and equipment were sold at a low price, and there was little left for 1 million yuan.

300 thousand, when the savings were wasted, Liu Xuanzao began to reflect on his choice. "Practice has proved that slippers are quite unique. After all, it is a blank spot in the market." After this failure, Liu Xuanzao decided to go back to his old business and start over again.

   Sell slippers like leather shoes.

When a friend in Beijing joined a chain in the early years, it became very successful. After hearing of Liu Xuanzao's slipper franchise project, he decided to take part in the stock market, and he would go to Beijing to develop.

In 2003, Liu Xuanzao set up the first Toedance fashion store in Beijing, so that slippers were clothed in fashionable clothes. At the same time, he also invited professional designers to design fashion slippers. At the same time, he also came up with many fashionable selling methods.

"What I sell is brand slippers. I need to sell leather shoes to ensure its quality. The implementation of the three package service will help consumers to buy comfort and ease. Liu Xuanzao said that the slippers had broken down and broken sections, and they could be replaced free within one month.

In the busy season of sales slippers, the T shop will be set up at the front of the store, inviting models to put on slippers and live show. This Promo performance will make the slippers more noble.

Liu Xuanzao has become the focus of media attention since 2004. Since 2004, CCTV, Hunan satellite TV, Shandong satellite TV and Taiwan satellite TV have been competing to report, and small slippers are attracting many investors. In those days, Liu Xuanzao began to promote slipper franchised stores in the form of franchising, and sought franchisees throughout the country.

In early 2006, Wuhan's Zhou Bing discovered the "Toedance" slippers chain store through 28 business opportunities network, and then got in touch with Liu Xuanzao, and two people hit it off. In June of that year, Zhou Bing's "Toedance" slipper franchised store opened in Wanda Fashion Plaza, which was also the first franchised chain store developed by Liu Xuan in Wuhan. Only half a year, the purchase volume reached 170 thousand yuan.

During the rush hours, there were as many as 500 shops in Toedance, and all over the country, more than 100 of them failed because of poor management. Now, there are 380 normal operations. Liu Xuanzao's goal is to develop the franchise to 500 in the next 3 years and gradually turn the slippers brand into the foreign market.
