The exporters of the region are the same as the central government.

The People's Republic of Bangladesh

Signed

free trade

The agreement expressed anger.

Tamil Nader's knitwear producers and exporters say the knitting industry in India is facing an impact on this free trade agreement.

Sachs Weil, President of the Rupp Exporters Association, said Bangladesh's 52 products will

duty-free

Entering India has damaged the interests of the domestic knitting industry in India.

Sax said: "the free trade agreement with Bangladesh will stifle our textile industry because domestic industry will be affected."

Sax also declared that if the price of imported garments from Bangladesh is 20% lower than the prices of domestic products produced in India, then the textile industry in India will collapse.

The Rupp Exporters Association has applied to the central government to cancel 10% of the tariff on the acquisition of knitwear manufacturers and exporters.

Excise tax

Sachs Weil said that the Rupp Exporters Association expects to enter the Japanese market because Japanese traders are interested in doing business with their partners in India.

Recently, Rupp's knitting units and exporters have opened up new markets, such as Japan, Australia, South America and Russia.

Sachs Weil said that in the past two years, the knitting industry has lost nearly 60 billion rupees due to unfavorable market trends.

Tirup, a knitting industry center in India, contributed 75% to the country's knitwear production.
